Metal Retro-Fit Roofing Systems

Our roofing system has 95% emissivity, which means it is 95% effective in emitting energy from thermal radiation. Compare this to your typical metal roofing which is a conductor of heat. What this means is our roofing system will save you approximately 40% in energy savings based on the emissivity rating of the roof and the increased R value.

(R Value = the capacity of an insulating material to resist heat flow. The higher the R-value, the greater the insulating power)

How the Treo-fit System Works:

Step 1: The metal retro-fit roofing system is applied right over your existing metal deck. No tear off required.

Step 2: Insulation is cut and placed to fill the flutes.

Step 3: Another layer of insulation is added to ensure a flat surface and increase the R value.

Step 4: The prefabricated membrane is mechanically-fastened to the deck over the insulation.

Step 5: Prefabricated flashings for stacks and other penetrations are heat-welded on-site to create a monolithic covering and assure a leak-proof seal.
