Manufacturing Facility Tornado Reconstruction
Problem
A manufacturing facility in Rogers, Arkansas suffered severe damage after a tornado struck the area. Large sections of the building and roofing system were destroyed, leaving portions of the structure exposed and unusable. In addition to the structural damage, debris from uprooted trees and demolished building components created significant cleanup and safety challenges. The owner needed a contractor capable of managing not only the roof replacement but also the reconstruction of the damaged portion of the facility.
Product
4 Star General Contracting installed approximately 25,400 square feet of Versico 60-mil TPO roofing as part of the rebuilding effort. In addition, the project included the construction of approximately 15,000 square feet of new pre-engineered metal building structure and roofing system to replace the sections destroyed by the tornado. The TPO roofing system was selected for its durability, weather resistance, and long-term performance in commercial and industrial environments. Together, the new building structure and roofing system restored the facility's structural integrity and provided long-term protection.
Solution
4 Star General Contracting served as the turnkey contractor, managing every aspect of the recovery and reconstruction process. The project began with the removal of tornado debris, including uprooted trees and damaged building materials, followed by demolition and disposal of the destroyed metal building components. 4 Star coordinated multiple trades including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire sprinkler, and the pre-engineered metal building manufacturer to fully rebuild the damaged portion of the facility. Over the course of 150 days, the team restored the building and installed the new roofing systems, delivering a fully reconstructed facility through a single, coordinated contractor for the owner.
